Mark brought his experience embracing obstacles to the Laker Leader group at Prior Lake High School. It's a group made up of 80-100 students who are team captains or club leaders.
In a 45 minute presentation, he talked about leadership, not as a title, but as a standard.
Leadership starts with what you believe.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Annual Men's Group Event
This talk centered on the idea that every person is pursuing something, whether they realize it or not. Through reflection and real experiences, the group was challenged to examine what they are chasing and whether it is leading them toward who they want to become.
The session emphasized intentional living, discipline, and the responsibility of choosing a path that builds meaning rather than just comfort.

This 45 minute presentation focused on athletes and leaders for the entire senior class at STA. This session broke down what it takes to earn respect within yourself. It emphasized setting a standard, consistently living it out, and having the courage to hold others accountable.
Students walked away with a clear understanding that leadership is not given. It is built through actions, especially when it is difficult.
